Customer Review: lodge logic
I havn’t used cast iron for years, after reading about the evils of “non-stick”, thought I’d try the Lodge Logic line. I bought the 12″ fry pan and the 5 qt. dutch oven. Like them both. The only thing that I’m trying to figure out is why black residue wipes off the surface even after cleaning, and also the surface itself is rough, unlike plain cast iron. Its something to do with the preseasoning of this line but the company hasn’t returned my email questions about this yet. As far as cooking, love it! I lightly oil, nothing sticks, good browning, etc. However, in hindsight, I might have bought the plain cast iron and preseasoned myself, just to avoid the 2 problems I mentioned above.
